Earlier this year, the US Amazon market announced their acquisition of Whole Foods Market, and now Canadians can benefit too! Amazon.ca introduces the new Whole Foods Market store in Canada.
Currently you can shop for pantry staples, household needs, health and beauty products. Even more Whole Foods Market products are being added into the Amazon Prime POS (point of sale) system. Plus there will be price cuts on popular foods, and there’s even a long term goal to make organic foods more affordable.
But it’s going to get even better!
Once the integration is complete, Prime members will be able to participate in the rewards program, receive special savings, and enjoy in-store benefits too.
They will be offering self-serve pick-up units in select Whole Foods Market stores and customers will be able to pick-up and return Amazon orders in-store as well.
This is a great news for those who don’t live near Whole Foods Market locations. Until now, I’ve been limited in my chances to shop Whole Foods Market stores because of their proximity to my home. I pop in and shop while visiting the city, but I no longer have to wait to shop Whole Foods Market any more. Amazon.ca has reduced the barriers, so I can shop from home and get the products delivered directly to me.
