My favorite Christmas Tradition starts right now. My daughter who is a pastry chef and loves to bake, is coming down the steps shortly, so we can start our Dec 24th Christmas bake off! We are starting with Christmas Brioche Wreaths. Yummy!! Merry Christmas Everyone!

Our family favourite traditions start in November when our 2 daughters (8 & 10 years old) collect Santa Anonymous gifts instead of getting birthday gifts so we can donate them, making & decorating sugar cookies and having the girls open their Christmas Eve gift of new Christmas PJs..Merry Christmas.

Our Christmas tradition has evolved. Growing up, we got too old for Santa but still liked the stockings, so we began filling stockings for each family member. At first my Mom filled all the stockings. Then we each started adding a few gifts to each stocking. When I moved away from home, we continued the stocking tradition by mail. When my two children were born, we continued “family stockings,” but since the children’s stockings had to be emptied so Santa could fill them, the family stockings were opened Christmas Eve and the children’s “Santa stockings” were opened Christmas morning. Now the children are grown, so we’re back to just the family stockings, and my son’s girlfriend also gets a stocking when they come on Christmas day.

We bake a lot together, make Christmas cards for everyone and handmade gifts, and donate as often as we are able to. Every year we have two family dinners and enjoy spending time together talking, playing games and eating some yummy food 🙂 Thanks and Merry Christmas to you!

Our family watches the animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas – didn’t have time for it tonight, so maybe we’ll do it tomorrow 🙂

We have three kids between us . My son is 22 , his son is 19 and our daughter is 8 , we have always done christmas eve in jammies with pizza and christmas movies , its even more special now that the boys are older because with their adult lives becoming busier its harder to find time for all of us to be together , so this is my favorite holiday tradition .
