Free Special Greetings Certificates From The Prime Minister Of Canada

Are you or someone you know celebrating a milestone birthday, wedding anniversary or life union anniversary in the near future?

You can get free special greetings certificates from The Prime Minster of Canada. I think this is an awesome service provided to Canadians. Not everyone knows about this, so I thought I would share the details about how you can get these free greetings from The Prime Minister for your special day.

There’s 3 ways to apply for a special congratulatory certificate: online, by postal mail or by fax.

The Prime Minister’s office recommends that you submit your request at least 6 weeks prior to the milestone celebration date. If you plant to send your request via postal mail, I suggest sending it in up to a week sooner than they recommend (depending where in Canada the request is sent from).

Here are the details about the 3 special greetings certificates:

Birthday Greetings

Canadians can submit a request to receive congratulatory certificates for a 65th birthday and again every 5 years (70th, 75th, 80th, 85th, 90th, 95th). Once a person reaches 100 years young, they can request a special greetings certificate every year.

Wedding Anniversary Greetings

Canadians can also request to receive congratulatory certificates to celebrate significant wedding anniversaries. Anniversary special greetings are available for the 25th wedding anniversary and every 5th year anniversary thereafter. Aww, I love long lasting marriages.

Anniversary of Life Together Greetings

The Prime Minister also sends congratulatory certificates to Canadians celebrating significant anniversaries of life unions together. Congratulatory certificates are available for the 25th union anniversary and at every 5-year interval thereafter.

Here’s what you’ll need to know to order your special greetings:

  1. To apply online, visit Connect with The Prime Minister and follow the links to the congratulatory message you wish to receive.
  2. To fax in your request for a special greetings, you’ll have to complete the PDF form and send it via fax to 613-941-6901.
  3. To request via postal mail, send your completed PDF form to the following address:
    • Congratulatory Messages
      Executive Correspondence Unit, Langevin Block
      Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0A2

It feels wonderful to be recognized on these special occasions by our loved ones, friends and colleagues. I think it would be great to receive a congratulatory message from the Prime Minister of Canada as a special memento of your celebration too. It makes a neat keepsake to display at home and to share with family and friends.

Congratulations! I hope you have an amazing celebration!
