Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse Oil Pulling Kit Review

With the rise of social media, the importance of teeth whitening has become more prevalent as we pose for the camera over and over again! One way to see if you need to use a product like Kismet Essentials’ Coco Rinse oil pulling kit, is by doing a tissue test! The tissue test is when you compare a facial tissue’s colour to your teeth. If your teeth fell short of passing the white teeth grade, you should consider using a tooth whitener kit to brighten your smile! Do your teeth pass the tissue test? Sadly, my teeth did not pass!

I’ve tried many drug store whitening kits and as a person who suffers from teeth sensitivity, I’ve never found a gentle tooth whitener that didn’t cause me pain and discomfort until now!

I received a 3-day free sample of Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse coconut oil pulling packets from VITA VIP. After completing the trial, I knew that I found a winner and splurged on a complete Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse Oil Pulling Kit to get the full benefit.

Coco Rinse Coconut Oil Pulling Kit

The Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse Oil Pulling Kit comes with 14 packets of fair trade organic coconut oil pulling mouth rinse. I have to admit that the first thought of rinsing my mouth with oil seemed a tad gross to me. But Kismet Essentials has eliminated the gross factor by offering their coco rinse in a pleasant and refreshing mint flavour.

Oil pulling with Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse is really simple! The best time to rinse is in the morning before eating, drinking, or brushing your teeth. Simply open a packet and squeeze the contents into your mouth.

It’s important to note that the oil may be in a solid or liquid form. I squeeze the solid form into my mouth and let the heat inside my mouth bring it to it’s liquid form. If you prefer, you can run the sachet under hot water for a moment to liquidize the oil rinse.

Once you’ve squeezed the oil rinse into your mouth, you will simply swish it back and forth for 10 to 20 minutes. Do not gargle or swallow, as the oil will contain pulled bacteria and you do not want to ingest it. I personally had a hard time making it to 20 minutes the first few times I used the oil pulling packets. The reason why is every time I swished back and forth my mouth produced more saliva, increasing the amount of liquid inside. I didn’t want to lose the benefit of not rinsing for the recommended time and I just spit a little bit out so I had a comfortable amount in my mouth.

After 10 to 20 minutes has lapsed, it’s time to spit out the oil and carry on with your normal brushing and flossing routine. As oil can clog your sink, it’s best to spit the coco rinse into your garbage or better yet into your compost bin.

Check out how easy it is to use the coco rinse oil pulling kit:

Kismet Essentials is a Canadian company which uses only the highest quality, virgin, organic coconut oil in their products. They boast having the freshest, fair trade and future friendly coconut oil available on the market today. Plus you’ll be happy to learn that all of Kismet products are handcrafted in small batches in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

By using the Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse oil pulling kit, you will experience whiter teeth, fresher breath, reduced plaque and reduced tartar build up. Plus there’s additional benefits of oil pulling, including:

  • Cleaner tongue and mouth
  • Improved digestion
  • Improved immune system
  • Reduced headaches
  • Clearer skin and less acne
  • Heals cracked lips
  • Promotes good oral hygiene

While you may see some or all of these benefits, it’s important to read over the Kismet Essentials product disclaimer: “This product does not claim to treat or cure medical conditions and should be used for cosmetic purposes only. Coco Rinse should be used in conjunction with regular visits to your dentist and traditional home oral care such as brushing and flossing.”

Here’s my verdict:

After using the Kismet Essentials Coco Rinse for 3 days and then another 14 days, I am hooked! I have definite improvement with the amount of plaque and tartar buildup on my teeth. My mouth feels cleaner and my breath is much fresher. The staining in between my teeth from black tea and coffee has greatly diminished. Even my dental hygienist commented on how well I have been caring for my teeth. Unfortunately, I suffer from regular headaches and find little relief with traditional treatments. I didn’t expect to receive any benefits for my headaches, however, I experienced longer time periods between my headaches while using the oil pulling kit and they were not as intense as they usually are. As the benefit you can get from oil pulling may increase over time of use, I will be ordering Coco Rinse regularly as part of my oral hygiene routine. It has my seal of approval!
