As a blogger who looks for deals, coupons, contests, freebies and other ways to save a dime; I literally get hundreds and hundreds of emails and online notifications each and every day. I managed to luck out with a smoking hot coupon code to save 99% off my first Sock Fancy subscription which had a very limited time window (it was in celebration of the 2017 Solar Eclipse).
Other than free, this was the best coupon I’ve ever had the chance to redeem. I’d never tried Sock Fancy before and this was the perfect opportunity to try it out for next to nothing!
I chose the two sock subscription for women (although I also debated whether to get a his and hers box….maybe another time). After applying the coupon, my total was $
0.19 $0.25 Canadian (my statement came in and it was $0.06 higher than I originally reported). It feels pretty awesome to find these amazing deals, share them and be able to use them too.
I always worry a bit when I order clothing online. I worry about the quality of the items, whether the material is soft and if it’s going to fit properly. Even though this subscription cost me next to nothing, I was pleasantly surprised that my worries were unfounded with Sock Fancy’s socks.

Now let’s take a look inside my first Sock Fancy subscription:
I received a pair of fuchsia pink and pale yellow coloured socks with bright flamingos all over; and a pair of light blue coloured socks with a swirly light teal abstract pattern. The first pair are not really my style, but this year I’m trying things outside of my comfort zone….so I won’t shy away from wearing those pink flamingos. The second pair are more my style and will get a lot of wear.
The socks are bright and colourful. The material is baby soft, which make these socks super comfy to wear! These are high quality socks, that have been well-constructed. There are some thread inside the socks from the patterns but they are not long and loopy so your toes wont get caught and I found that the threads didn’t tickle my feet (I actually didn’t notice the threads until the end of the day). Despite the threads, I’m impressed by the craftsmanship of these socks.

The Sock Fancy socks feature:
- A 2-inch no-slip cuff band
- High quality combed cotton
- 200 needle machine construction
- Reinforced toe and heel
- Hundreds of fresh designs each year
- A blend of 70% cotton, 14% polyester, 13% nylon and 3% spandex
The bands have a good amount of stretch so they don’t feel tight on your calves and they stay up well. The toes read Sock Fancy, so it’ll be no secret where you got your socks from! The price is comparable to the cost of designer socks found at some Canadian retailers.
The only downfall for me is the size (US 5-11) is just slightly baggy at my fourth toe (you might see it on the pink flamingos sock) and I wear a size 7 shoe. I’m hoping that they will adjust themselves after a wash or two.
Inside my package were a few freebies too! I received a Sock Fancy ‘Rock Out With Your Sock Out’ can koozie, lapel pin and sticker. All in all, I’m fairly happy with my Sock Fancy subscription. I’m going to continue the 2-sock subscription and can’t wait to see what they send me next.
